The Police Civilian Advisory Board Study Committee is seeking community input and feedback on its work.
Given the Study Committee's charge from Town Meeting to study the creation of alternative mechanisms for civilians to file complaints regarding police interactions and to consider various models of dealing with complaints about police interactions, including establishment of a police civilian review board, the Study Committee would like to hear about community members' experiences with police (positive, neutral, or negative).
The Study Committee would also like to hear what the community's expectations are for the Study Committee, if any.
Please join the community open forum session here.
Join the zoom meeting: https://town-arlington-ma-us.zoom.us/j/82747855581
If you would like to provide feedback to the Study Committee but are not able to attend any of the scheduled focus groups or open forums, please fill out this survey online.
In August, the Study Committee published a Status Report to the Town on its work to date. You can read that here: https://www.arlingtonma.gov/home/showpublisheddocument/58004
Information about the Study Committee is available on the Town webpage
