Legislative Acts Affecting the Town

Changes to the Town Bylaws and Zoning Bylaws were passed by the 2024 Annual Town Meeting earlier this year. The Attorney General has reviewed the changes and approved some bylaws that will go into effect on October 3, 2024. You can read an overview of the changes that have been approved and find links to the full text of the changes.

Other Town and Zoning Bylaws are still being reviewed and we expect a response by December 10, 2024. (This date has been extended from November 10 at the request of the Attorney General. The list of the articles not yet in force is included in the overview document above.
