Community Development Grants Open House

Organizations and advocates are invited to learn how to apply for grant funding through CDBG

The virtual Community Development Grants Open House will consist of two parts. During Part 1, attendees will learn about the Community Development Block Grant program and its legacy of supporting vital community services and organizations in Arlington.  Input and questions from community members will be sought on CDBG priorities in Arlington, as the Department of Planning and Community Development begins planning for the forthcoming CDBG program year. Part 2 will focus on the application process for Community Development Block Grants. Organizations and agencies interested in learning more about the application or with questions pertaining to project eligibility are encouraged to participate in Part 2. We also welcome participation from grassroots advocates who are curious about how to encourage organizations they engage with to apply for funding. This event will be facilitated by Department of Planning and Community Development staff. Learn more at arlingtonma.gov/cdbg.

Who should attend?  Nonprofit organizations, social service agencies, low- and moderate-income community members, participants in youth and senior programs, and individuals interested in affordable housing, small businesses, economic development, accessibility, and equity.
