The LGBTQIA+Rainbow Commission is co-sponsoring the Transgender Day of Remembrance ceremony, along with other nearby community groups to honor the lives of people killed in transphobic violence this year. This event will include reflections by local transgender women and nonbinary people of color (those most impacted by transphobic violence), a reading of names, and opportunities to talk about allyship. The event will provide live captioning.
