Save on Prescription Drugs with Free Arlington Prescription Discount Card
Since 2009, the Town of Arlington has been offering a program that saves residents money on prescription drugs that are not covered by insurance. The Prescription Discount Card is made available to residents by the Town of Arlington in collaboration with the National League of Cities (NLC) and is made possible through Arlington’s membership in NLC. Since the program has been offered, Arlington residents have saved over $350,000, leading the state in savings. The card is free to all Arlington residents, regardless of age, income or existing health insurance. By using this card you may save an average of 25% off the regular retail price of prescription drugs at participating pharmacies. Your card cannot be used in conjunction with other insurance. However, you are able to use your card to purchase prescriptions that are not covered by these plans. Pets that take prescriptions used to treat human conditions may also be eligible.
