The main focus of the project will be the installation of stormwater infiltration trenches and rain gardens to assist in the removal of contaminants which flow to the Mystic River from stormwater runoff. Worked started in April.

Handicap Ramp and Sidewalk Work in Town

Beginning Monday, July 8, 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., sidewalk construction for Handicap Ramps will commence on Pleasant Street at Swan St., Lombard Rd., #74, Maple St., #87, Wellington St., Pelham Terrace, Oak Knoll Rd., Hopkins Rd., and Peabody Rd.

Paving operations will take place starting October 1st to October 3rd for Jason Street (from Gray Street to Spring Street), Pleasant View Road, and Hillsdale Road. This work is weather dependent and the dates may be extended or changed due to inclement weather and other factors.
