Double Poles: It can be a long process to eliminate the old pole as there are up to six different utilities with wires on any one pole and their work must be scheduled sequentially before the old pole can be removed. | Twice a year Verizon submits a Double Pole Report to the Department of Telecommunications and Cable. generally submitted May and November. To find Verizon’s Double Pole Report, enter Docket Number: 03-87 and look for Filer: Verizon on the Mass Energy and Environmental Affairs website. For convenience, view the most recent Double Pole Report If a pole is not on the list, please contact Verizon.
