Committee Contact: Juli Brazilie, Town Clerk, jbrazile@town.arlington.ma.us
A committee to study the feasibility of conducting future town meetings in a hybrid format, supporting both in-person and virtual participation by Town Meeting Members and other participants in Town Meeting. The Study Committee will investigate all aspects of conducting Town Meeting with hybrid participation, including the legal, technological, logistical, and cost aspects, with the goal of making reports to one or more future Town Meetings; or take any action related thereto.
Take the Hybrid Town Meeting Study Committee Survey
Created by vote of Town Meeting, the Hybrid Town Meeting Study Committee has started its work to examine the options and requirements for conducting Town Meeting with both in-person and remote participation. As part of this effort, they are hoping that some members of the public would be willing to answer a few questions about how much the current in-person only Town Meeting is a barrier to your participation and if the ability to participate remotely would increase your interest in serving on Town Meeting. Take the survey by May 31st. QR Code for Survey
