Town Day Volunteers Give Thanks to Attendees, Vendors, and Performers
Rain didn’t dampen spirits of attendees.

Fireworks display over Spy Pond at 7:30PM
Town Day takes place from 10:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. along Massachusetts Avenue between Pleasant Street and Jason Street. This event is rain or shine.
Sept 21 Update: Town Day and fireworks are still happening today. However, entertainment and some activities for Town Day have been moved inside.
- Center Stage Entertainment moved to Town Hall Auditorium.
- Garden Stage Entertainment moved to Community Center Main Hall
- Friends of Robbins books sale moved to inside in the Community Room in the library basement.
Road Closure: Massachusetts Avenue between Pleasant Street (Route 60) and Jason/Mill Street – 9:15 a.m. - 6:15 p.m. as well as access to Mass. Ave. from adjoining side streets. MBTA has rerouted its bus routes accordingly. Traffic delays are expected. Visitors are encouraged to walk to the event, if possible.

Art on the Green in front of Dallin Museum
In the Museum’s garden at noon will be the unveiling of Arlington’s newest work of public art, a small-scale bronze cast of Cyrus Dallin’s iconic statue of Paul Revere.
Fireworks over Spy Pond at 7:30PM
Walking to Spy Pond is highly recommended as traffic delays are anticipated and parking is limited. Please follow guidance from the Mass Dept. Of Public Health (MDPH) to protect yourself from mosquito bites, such as wearing long sleeve clothing and using insect repellent. Download the Preventing Mosquito Bites Guide from the MDPH. If you forget insect repellent, the Health Department will be providing mosquito wipes and bug spray. The Health Department will be set up by Spy Pond Playground.
