The Semiquincentennial Committee (Arlington 250) will evaluate, make recommendations and coordinate the Town-wide activities to be held to commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the battles that occurred on the first day of the American War of Independence (said remembrances to be concentrated in April 2025) and other historical events related to the founding of our country. And to further the coordination of the Town’s events with local, state, regional and federal events.

The Semiquincentennial Committee is seeking citizen volunteers who will serve on this committee to evaluate, make recommendations and coordinate the Town-wide activities to be held to commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the battles that occurred on the first day of the American War of Independence (said remembrances to be concentrated in April 2025) and other historical events related to the founding of our country. And to further the coordination of the Town’s events with local, state, regional and federal events. All interested parties are encouraged to submit a letter of interest to the Office of the Select Board at sbadmin@town.arlington.ma.us
