This regional committee is comprised of eight communities: Arlington, Bedford, Belmont, Concord, Lexington, Lincoln, Waltham and Watertown. 

The committee has a Memorandum of Understanding to establish an Intermunicipal Agreement pursuant to MGL c.40 4A effective May 1, 1998. The municipalities agree to plan and host a permanent hazardous waste facility known as the Minuteman Hazardous Household Product Facility, share the costs of operating the facility, and be open once a month, eight times a year.
