Annotated Town Meeting Warrant

The annotated warrant contains links to presentations, amendments and motions for each article along with details about comments from the hearings and the recommended vote.

2021 Annual Town Meeting Votes

There are a number of documents here to help residents understand the actions that Town Meeting took.

The Annotated Town Meeting Warrant (above) has information on each article explaining the purpose and details of what Town Meeting was asked to vote on along with commentary and explanatory presentations. The board or committee that heard the article will recommend that Town Meeting either adopt the article or take no action.
The Annotated Warrant contains amendments to propose a change to the vote language that was recommended and substitute motions that replace a recommendation of no action with language that Town Meeting can vote on.
If an amendment passed, the Summary of Votes will note the article was amended. If a substitute motion failed, then Town Meeting approved the original recommendation of no action.
The Summary of Votes lists the titles of all the articles and the final action that Town Meeting took. Articles either passed, failed or no action was taken.
To review how each Town Meeting Member voted on an article, use the date of the vote from the Summary of Votes and open the correct file below.
Residents can email the Town Clerk to request a copy of an Excel file that lists all the votes (116) that all the Members (252) took on the amendments, substitute motions and articles.
